Nerve System — Neuron
This is not a light. It is a nervous system at rest.
The Nerve System Neuron is a large-scale suspended installation, a bilateral branching structure in oxidized bronze that descends from ceiling to floor, roots spreading outward across the ground plane, branches reaching into the surrounding space. At its center, a luminous nucleus: the point where all signals originate and return.
Globe lights at the branch terminals mark the periphery of the system, small warm points of arrival, each one the end of a chain of decisions made in bronze. The shadows cast are architectural in scale. The piece does not occupy a room; it reorganizes it.
Designed for significant volumes, double-height residences, private galleries, institutional interiors. Each commission is site-specific: the proportions of the branching system are calibrated to the ceiling height, floor plan, and spatial atmosphere of the space it inhabits.
This piece has one mode: total presence.
Made to order. Cast bronze with oxidized finish. Site visit or detailed spatial brief required before commission.
