Faces, the Death of the False Self

There are developmental stages of awareness beyond the adult self which involve the perception of connectedness with phenomenon normally considered outside the boundaries of personal identity. John Brevard's "Faces" was created to illustrate the deconstruction of the artist’s personality as he processed several deeply transformational, transpersonal states of consciousness via a near death experience.

"Faces" is made of acrylic paint on canvas.
